Hani El Omary was born in Mount Lebanon area in 1969 and his original name is Tony Mghamis. His older brother Pascal, is his business manager where he used to be the director of the artist Nawal Al Zoghbi, holding a degree in acting and directing from the Lebanese University. He was influenced by the great Wadih Safi.
Hani began his career based on his talent and personal effort. He presented a series of emotional songs, the most famous of which was "Mushtaq Adomik" that raised his fame and was followed by a series of romantic songs, which he was known by passion & romance.
He head to the business world where he opened a restaurant in Batroun. In 1997 he released his album "so'aaba" and "Aagabtini Kteer" in 1999. In 2000, he released "Kellon Shafouk". In addition to the album "malik rouhi" in 2003, Omari has issued during his career a compilation of new collections of the giant Arab singers.
He believes that the truth behind a successful singer is the strength of his relationship with his audience and the extent of their communication with him, and not by an important production company.
